The CMS (Compact Muon Solenoid) experiment is located at the CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC). Fermilab is the largest of seven CMS Tier-1 data analysis centers. I help support thousands of high-energy physics researchers in world-wide scientific discovery by maintaining a 1200+ node Red Hat Linux based cluster. In addition, I assist with CMS data transfers at Fermilab, providing highly-available 24x7 continuous high-load data transfers from CERN to Fermilab and more than 93 other computing centers around the world.
